Gifts are special as they make the receiver feel special. People give their loved ones gifts on special occasions - Christmas presents, valentine day gifts, or just like that to express their love. Here are some quotations signifying the importance of gifts.

Quotation #1: What is bought is cheaper than a gift. ~Portuguese Proverb

This is a proverb consisting just a few words, but it says so much in only eight words. You could go and buy real expensive stuff and all your investment can definitely be worth it, well at least materialistically. But when it's a gift for someone, very special feelings gets added to it making it priceless.

Quotation #2: The manner of giving is worth more than the gift. ~Pierre Corneille, Le Menteur

A gift can off course be just namesake, may be being given for showing off, lacking the actual feeling. And then no matter how expensive it is, it will become worthless. The reflection of "manner" according to me is not limited to the smile you wear while you present your gift. It expands to the thought you bear in your mind while you put your gift in an anticipating hand.

Quotation #3: You may give gifts without caring, but you can't care without giving. ~ Frank A. Clark

Obviously if you care for someone, you care about the person's feelings. You would want that person to feel emotionally secure - to feel loved and cared for. And what better way is there for expressing your feelings and making him/her feel special than presenting a beautiful gift?

So go ahead and spread smiles with thoughtful gifts.

These days it is indeed becoming difficult to schedule your time with the daunting number of day to day tasks and the increasing intensity of the work pressure in the modern world. But don't use this as an excuse for not giving gifts. There are many online gift shops can help you out. Just check out this review of goldia.
